Crack length matters, but so do location, age, contamination, edge involvement, and the overall condition of the windshield. Photos help with the first assessment; the glass is confirmed in person.

Full structural crack repair and crack arrest are different services. Crack arrest is intended only to help stop spreading and does not hide or cosmetically repair the crack.

The $75 crack-arrest option is intended only to help stop an existing crack from spreading.

Honest limits

If size, location, contamination, or edge involvement makes replacement necessary, Mint Chips will say so.
